The Tome Episode 5: Dragon 350
Tuesday Dec 05, 2006
Tuesday Dec 05, 2006
This is a repost of Episode 5, which had some...issues the first time around. The editing should be better this time around.
Welcome back to the next installment of the internationally acclaimed podcast, The Tome.
In Episode 5 we take a look at Dragon magazine issue number 350, which includes articles on: Wee Jas, Forgotten Realms outsider races, the Clockwork Horror, the effects of corruptive magic on creatures and the environment, and chronomancy.
If you have any comments, questions, feedback, or a guest review for the show please email me at thetomeshow@gmail.com or you can visit the site at http://thetome.podbean.com.
There is also a forum at http://thetome.freepowerboards.com but I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to keep that around since I'm not convinced anyone wants to use it.

Episode 5 Issues
Tuesday Dec 05, 2006
Tuesday Dec 05, 2006
Hey, I started getting emails this morning telling me that the latest episode has some...issues. There was a simple editing mistake. I'm getting it fixed. I've taken the episode down and will repost the proper version later today without all the choppy edits.
I also have a change in up coming episodes to announce and will inform you as such in that episode.
Thanks for your help and patience in this. Still early in the process and as you can tell it's a learning experience for me.

Titles that have me itching...
Sunday Nov 05, 2006
Sunday Nov 05, 2006
Here are the things that I am itching to get in reviews on:
Complete Mage (this is next on the list of books)
New Dragon magazines
Expedition to Castle Ravenloft
Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells (out in December)
I'm not a huge Eberron buyer, although the Dragonmarked book looks pretty interesting, so maybe that one...maybe. I'm disappointed to not see more up coming Forgotten Realms books. I'm a Realmsian fan from way back when. My first real game of D&D was running the Avatar trilogy. Hmmm...I should update that and run it for one of my Play By Email groups. Maybe throw in Ravenloft...call it Classics_Game or FR_Classics. Anyway, I'm rambling.
What else should I be checking out that's coming up? What already out materials should I review (those are even faster for me to do since I've already read them once I only have to do my second/note-taking reading on those...half the work means new show out twice as quick)? Any ideas?
