Our last GenCon episode is finally out with DM to the Stars Chris Perkins. Sorry it took so long, Tracy, the host of Gamer to Game had life come up (and a new job) and is bowing out of the show after the last few episodes already recorded last summer come out. That leaves Jeff to do the editing chores and...well, life there too.
But here it is, Chris Perkins, live from GenCon, Gamer to Gamer. Enjoy!

In Tome Show episode 202 we talked to Anthony Savini, one of the guys working on Dungeons and Dragons: A Documentary, a really cool looking documentary detailing the history and impact of everyone's favorite RPG. And yes, we know that you haven't seen episode 201 yet (unless you happened to be at GenCon and game by to see it) but we wanted to get this out to you ASAP so you'd have time to participate in the Kickstarter to support it.

In this special episode Mark Meredith of Dice Monkey Radio and Jeff Greiner of The Tome Show produced an accidental team-up. They both, individually and independently, conducted an interview with R.A. Salvatore, author of Charon's Claw and the rest of the Drizzt series of novels and more. Rather than give you two Tome Show Production episodes in a row interviewing the same person, we spliced them together into one special combo episode.
Mark talks to Mr. Salvatore about the process of writing Drizzt novels, where he came from, how he got to the adventures of Charon's Claw, and more. Jeff talked about some of the deeper issues of the story, the unreliability and flawed nature of the characters, integrating the stories into the Forgotten Realms, and more.
