DnDeBrief Episode 040 Leralak FoundSummary: After turning back the flood the group rests as their ship heads out to meet Leralak's forces, which are now on dry land and at a disadvantage.
Debrief: Very short debrief about high level characters and how difficult it is for the DM to deal with spellcasting villains among all the other stuff they have to do during a session. This episode was brought to by the terms 'soul jar' and 'living statue.'

DnDeBrief Episode 039 Turn Back the FloodSummary: The group enters the soul-sucking chamber and fights the 'old man' who seems to be stealing souls from prisoners. Is the old man Betet? What happens to the shortsword they think is evil? How many dogs has Khonnos absorbed? What ARE those dogs? Will they rescue the prisoners? Will Dalencia live? Will any of these questions be answered?
Debrief: The players discuss having 15th level characters and the huge amounts of resources they have available to them. We also touch on fear effects in 5e D&D, and a little about encounter design.

D&DeBrief episode 034 - A Kingdom Readies
Summary: The group meets with the Queens, in a secure location, to give a report about recent events in the Royal Manor. Emmeryn gets spellcasting supplies from the Abbey Treasury to help heal the quarantined citizens. When the group gets to the docks they are stunned to see an old friend on a ship, mustering the Royal Navy. Khonnos tells the Hokka of the preparations for war and they gladly assist the Kalportians. Marcel and Emmeryn designate an acting captain for their own ship and the party prepares itself for their next steps. On their way to put the book of proofs back in the Spire Room of the Library of Therondimus, they run into Gaston and Emmeryn gets her cloak back.
